A five-case gold lacquer inro decorated in hiramakie, takamakie and colours with peony issuing from pierced rockwork and being blown in the wind (scratches, old wear, small pieces of lacquer missing) -- 3¾in.long, signed Bairinsai (?); attached cylindrical glass ojime and spherical ivory ojime decorated with trailing vines leaves and a stag antler netsuke of box form, the sides pierced with buildings and gateways -- 1in.long.
