A Japanese Kakiemon-style saucer dish with fluted edge painted in green, blue, yellow, brown and iron-red enamels with a small bird in flight above pine, prunus and bamboo, the reverse with a spray of prunus and three sprays of flowers issuing from rockwork, with chocolate brown rim -- 6in. diam, 17th Century.
