(35.5cm.) long body tube with speculum mirrors, screw rod focusing, located by twin "butterfly" nuts on limb with compass joint, on baluster turned column with screw mounting for a wooden post and tripod stand, the cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, in oak case, the interior painted in vermillion - 18¾ins. (47.6cm.) wide.
