Gurley, Troy, N.Y., the telescope with rack and pinion focusing and graduated bubble level, located on the axis with 4½ Inch vertical circle with silvered scale divided in 4 quadrants and vernier, mounted on twin uprights from the horizontal plate incorporating level and cross-bubble and silvered compass with edge-bar needle and clamp, the enclosed horizontal circle with twin vernier scales, engraved G G Ledder Boston Mass., on 4 screw tripod mounting with tangent screw adjustment and levelling screws, overall height - 13½in. (34.3cm.).
