Gurley Troy N.Y., the blued-iron needle with jewelled pivot and clamp, the compass face inset with level and cross-bubble, the horizontal circle divided in 4 quadrants, the outer edge engraved with a 35°-0°-35° scale and vernier, the folding sights arranged so as to carry the transit telescope to enable the dial to be converted to a theodolite, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing and graduated bubble level, mounted on one side by an axis to the 3½ Inch vertical circle, the silvered scale divided in 4 quadrants with vernier, fine tangent screw adjustment and clamp, with accessories, W. & L.E.
