A 19th-Century lacquered brass compound monocular microscope, signed on the base A. ROSS LONDON N 257, the body tube located on a limb with rack and pinion coarse focusing and fine adjustment, mechanical stage with silvered scales, sub-stage, Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and plano-concave mirror, with some accessories, including 2 eyepieces, ¼ Inch, ½ Inch and 1 Inch objectives, in brass bound double-doored mahogany case with brass carrying handle - 12¾in. (32.4cm.) high.
