A group of terracottas comprising a South Italian terracotta protome fragment showing the face of a woman, her hair swept back and bound by a fillet -- 4¾in. (12.2cm.) high, early 4th Century B.C.; a terracotta head of a woman wearing high polos, mounted -- 4in. (9.8cm.) high, early 5th Century B.C.; a small female head with hair bound in a conical sakkos, mounted -- 2in. (4.8cm.) high, mid-5th Century B.C.; another bust of a woman with head turned to her right, mounted -- 2¼in. (5.5cm.) high, circa 3rd Century B.C.; a standing female figure holding a child in her left arm, repaired -- 7¾in. (19.5cm.) high; another standing female figurine, mounted -- 3½in. (9cm.) high, both circa 4th Century B.C.; and three bucchero pottery relief plaques, each in the form of a standing draped female figure wearing a polos and holding her curling locks of hair in either hand -- 4¼in. (11cm.) high, circa 6th Century B.C.
