A 19th century French bronze group of two St. Bernards, cast from a model by Charles Valton, one wearing a brandy flask, with left paw raised, the other animal sniffing the ground, the naturalistic base modelled with a satchel, signed CH. VALTON, and inscribed BEAUX ARTS, on black marble plinth -- 18½in. high.
