Lot Essay

It seems to be not generally known that the purpose of the tee and protractor squares is for the 9/16in. wide brass blade to be inserted into the tool box of the O/T slide rest so as to set the slide rest by reference to a previously turned surface. The description in Vol V seems unclear to many.
