A 19th century French ormolu encrier, the engraved rectangular stamp box flanked by two urn shaped pots, the covers and pen tray inset with Sèvres type porcelain panels, the turquoise ground heightened in gilt and painted with figures in pastoral landscapes, on winged ball feet -- 12¾in. (32.1.2cm.) wide.
