A pair of Japanese cloisonne flattened oviform vases decorated and moulded in relief with birds among fruiting pomegranate and prunus branches on a grey ground surrounded by stylised ho-o and dragons to the neck on a goldstone ground -- 12in high; and a cloisonne lobed oviform vase with slightly flaring neck decorated with leaf shaped cartouches of stylized ho-o and dragons below bands of flowering branches and zig zag patterns -- 14½in high.
