As the famous Amsterdam bookbinder Albertus Magnus, who died in Amsterdam in 1689, did not have a printing house of his own, it has to be assumed that this Spanish/Hebrew book of blessings and its Hebrew edition were actually printed in the officina of another Amsterdam Hebrew printer, most likely David de Castro Tartas (see Fuks). Included are a Haggadah for Passover, with a recipe for Haroset, prayers for martyrs, instructions on constructing a Mikvah and an index of blessings. The Spanish translation of the benedictions was produced by the renowned Sephardic benefactor Isaac de Matatiah Aboab.
