A massive Edwardian cup and cover in the 18th Century Irish taste, on a rising circular foot and with a moulded body band and rim and two harp-shaped handles, the domed detachable cover with compressed finial, with slightly-later presentation inscription, an armorial, crest and motto above, Elkington and Co., Birmingham 1903 - 18½in, 129.75iz, with an ebonised wood plinth and in a wooden carrying case.
