A George III baluster lidded tankard later-chased with rococo flowers, scrolling foliage and trellis-work and with two scroll cartouches, one engraved with an armorial, the other with a crest, with a double scroll handle with scroll terminal and openwork trefoil thumbpiece, later-applied with a chased spout, maker's initials J. S., London 1764, the spout bearing Victorian hallmarks - 8in, 32.75oz.
