A PAIR OF SILVER GILT SWEETMEAT BASKETS, A SALVER, AND A PAIR OF DUTCH SWEETMEAT DISHES, maker's mark of Gorham, 1891, each openwork molded oval, on four openwork scroll feet with apron between, the sides twice with vacant scroll enclosed oval cartouche, flanked by chased scroll spray, the remainder openwork with scroll and diaperwork, with everted border and applied decorated rim--8½in. (21.5cm.) long, the monogrammed oblong salver with everted border openwork with scalework, the corners with scrolling reserve and bordered by applied foliate scroll and flower--14¾in. (37.4cm.) wide, the Dutch shallow oval dishes each on four lion's paw feet, the pierced and engraved everted broad border incorporating birds, flowers and foliate scrolls, with applied ruffled rocaille and C-scroll rim--7¾in.
