A SILVER TEA URN, STAND AND LAMP, maker's mark of Wood & Hughes, (maker's mark only), circa 1850, stand and lamp unmarked, shoulder corners to the inverted pear shaped body chased with scroll enclosed oval foliate bosse, topped by paired bold blossoms issuing trailing foliage, and twice divided by trailing matted ivy spray, with further climbing ivy below bosses, the matted foliate spout with shaped loop handle, with two part berried, floral and foliate loop handles (no insulators), with applied die- rolled rim, the detachable low domed cover chased with matted swirling acanthus and topped by berry finial, the twice chained, partly waisted circular stand, with pierced collar, on four foliate and berried supports, chased with conforming decoration, with cylindrical lamp--16in. (40.6cm.) high, gross weight 77.5oz.
