A Fukugawa bowl with foliate rim painted and gilt with a central medallion of chrysanthemums and maple leaves within a border of further roundels of ho-o and panels of prunus and chrysanthemums on a geometric and foliage ground, the exterior with scrolling peonies and leaves (some gilt rubbing) -- 10¾in. diam, blue bud mark.
