A finely engineered exhibition standard 1/12th scale model of a single cylinder 10 NHP high pressure pendulous engine designed by Dr. E. Alban circa 1838 and modelled by A. Walshaw. Measurements overall -- 16 x 15¾in.(40.7 x 40cm)

With fluted unlagged cylinder 5/8in. bore x 2in. stroke cradle mounted and supported on four doric columns with overhead expansion valve gear with balance weights, studded stuffing boxes with eye bolts, belt driven Watt governor, linkage and valve, hand operated warning/starting valve, wasted crank and spoked flywheel. Further details include spoked belt pulley wheels, inlet and exhaust pipework, with bolted flanged joints and four bearings with oil pots. Mounted on simulated brick floor with flywheel pit surrounded by hand rails and finished in green and dark yellow. Brass bound glazed case
