A well engineered 2½in gauge model of the 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive 'Ted' built by C J Unwin circa 1935 -- 8 x 41½in (29 x 105.5cm)
With braised superheated copper boiler with combustion chamber with cross tubes and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle and clack valves. Chassis details include two outside cylinders with Baker valve gear and one inside with Gresley conjugated valve gear, fluted connecting and coupling rods, ratchet operated lubricator, twin eccentric driven feed pumps and by-pass, vacuum operated brake gear and whistle. Tender details include four axles, vacuum operated brake gear and hand feed pump. Unpainted. Fitted carrying boxes.
