A well detailed 3½in gauge static display model of the Belgian State Railways 2-8-0 locomotive and tender No.5001 built by Sir W G Armstrong Whitworth & Co Ltd, Newcastle on Tyne, 1920 -- 10½ x 46½in (26.6 x 118cm)
With external details including boiler with scale backhead fittings, safety valves, washout plugs and whistle. Chassis details include brass coupled wheels, twin outside cylinders with studded stuffing boxes, safety valves, piston rod tail shaft guides, Walschaert's valve gear and finely detailed motion with wedged and bolted split brasses, brake gear vacuum pump, steps and hand irons. Tender details include tool boxes, watercock, tank filler caps, brake gear, steps and hand irons. Finished in green and black with orange and black lining. (See illustration)
