A well engineered 3½in gauge model of the BR Class 7 4-6-2 locomotive and tender No 70004 'William Shakespeare' -- 10¼ x 52in (26 x 132cm)
With braized superheated copper boiler hydraulic tested to 120 psi 30.1.92, with combustion chamber and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle steam brake and clack valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylingders with walschaert's valve gear and piston valves, cab controlled draincocks, fluted motion, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, injector whistle steam operated brake gear, roller bearings to all axles, riveting, pipework, firebox washout doors, (dummy) smoke deflector plates screw operated reverse and many other details. Tender details include hand feed pump working leaf springs steps, hand and lamp irons. Finished in BR green livery and lining with etched plates. Carrying boxes.
