A 2in scale model of the Clayton Undertype Articulated Steam Wagon Reg. No. EL1985 built by E Lynn -- 18½ x 60in (47 x 152.5cm)
With braized superhead copper boiler with centre fuelling shute and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, main stop, injector, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include twin cylinders with enclosed cranks, crankcase filler and drain plugs, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass and single speed chain drive. Chassis details include Ackerman steering, rubber tyred wheels with brass hubcaps, working leaf springs, differential unit, water tank, injector and hand feed pump. Trailer details include channel section frame, flat board body with drop down tail board, rubber tyred wheels and foot rests. Finished in green and red the cab lettered 'Clayton Lincoln', the trailer side boards lettered 'Clayton Wagons Titanic Works Lincoln'
