A late Victorian gadrooned baluster hot water jug in the 18th Century taste, on a rim foot and with a wicker-covered scroll handle and domed hinged cover with artichoke finial, the lower part of the body chased with a frieze of flowers and scrolling foliage, a similar frieze chased on the lid, Thomas and Walter Slater and Henry Holland, London 1896 - 9½in., 19oz gross.
