A Victorian oblong brass-bound coromandel travelling dressing case, lined in blue plush and leather, containing ten toilet jars and bottles, the covers bright-cut with strap work and scrolling foliage and applied with floral bright-cut circular discs, with a lift out tray containing several manicure and other implements, most with mother-of-pearl handles, the dressing case with a concealed jewellery drawer containing a white-metal watch, the hinged cover with a brass cartouche engraved with a monogram, the interior with a brass plate engraved with a retailers name: "Melliship & Harris, 10, Westbourne Grove, Bayswater" the silver mounts by W.N., London 1879 - length of dressing case 13in.
