An ivory okimono modelled as a boy seated on the back of a caparisoned elephant with its head turned to one side, two boys on either side playing musical instruments, the details inlaid (some inlay missing, age crack) -- 3.in.high, signed Hoshinsai, with seal of Masanobu.
