A wakizashi, the blade honzukuri, iorimune, chugissaki and torii-zori with mokume hada and midare hamon, komaru boshi suriage nakago, with samegawa-togidashi saya and matching tsuka, hanashi menuki of military accoutrements, shakudo fuchi-kashira decorated with bats and bamboo, a shiiremono uchidashi kozuka depicting horses and an iron Heianjo tsuba (repairs to scabbard, chips) -- the blade 19½.in.long, signed Bizen Kuni ju Norimitsu, possibly late 16th century.
