A patchwork coverlet, composed of various sprigged, floral and abstract patterned printed cottons, the centre with a small medallion printed with a female bust from which radiates a star worked against a chintz medallion, the corners with rosettes, within a seris of borders, backed with linen--110in x 100in., the cottons dating from circa 1790, (some re-placed in 20th century), made-up circa 1840
