Lot Essay

Within a few years of the enormous commercial success of Loetz, managed by Maximillian von Praun, various other Bohemian Glasshütten imitated Von Praun's iridescent art glass. Two manufacturers could have produced this glass vase: Benedikt von Poschinger in Buchenau Bavaria or the Harrachsche Glasshütte in Neuwelt/Bohemia.
