'PAYSAGE', A FINE AND RARE TRIPLE OVERLAID AND WHEEL-CARVED GLASS BOWL

Of footed form, the clear glass body with a pale pink interior, the exterior overlaid in brown and deep lavender, finely wheel-carved to depict large clusters of hydrangea blossoms and foliage, against a scene of woods and cloudy sky at twilight, the foot of the bowl further carved with blossoms, cameo signature GALLÉ, accompanied by a carved ebony Chinese style base
5 5/8in. (14.3cm.) high, 9 3/8in. (23.8cm.) diameter of bowl
