A pair of George III gadrooned circular stands on leaf-capped claw and ball feet, the sides pierced, stamped and chased bee-hives, herons catching serpents or fish, urns of flowers and buildings surrounded by rococo flowers and scrolls, each with a vacant punch-beaded oval cartouche and fitted with a later frosted glass liner, maker's initials R.M., London 1770 - 5½in., 16.25oz. free.
