An early 18th century French tortoiseshell veneered and foliate cut brass inlaid bracket clock, the case with applied ormolu mounts and with surmount personifying Night, the gilt metal dial with enamel Roman numerals, with label inscribed CLAVIERE A PARIS, with later movement -- 34in. (86½ cm.) high.
