A mahogany partner's pedestal desk by Whytock & Reid, with rectangular leather-lined top and six frieze drawers, each pedestal with four drawers and opposing panelled doors, on block feet, each drawer stamped Whytock & Reid, Edinburgh and one drawer labelled From Whytock & Reid, Cabinet Makers and Upholsterers, to H. M. the King, 9 & 11 George Street, Edinburgh dated in ink 1928, the central drawers with Bramah locks -- 66in. (168cm.) wide.
