A Satsuma model of a karashishi with its tail whipped over its haunches and its head turned to the left carrying a vase on its back decorated with a phoenix in flight and chrysanthemums issuing from brushwood fences -- 5¾in. high; and a pair of small vases decorated with actors and officials alternating with retreats in mountainous landscapes -- 4¼in. high, impressed marks.
