A pair of Imari fluted vases and high domed covers with Buddhistic lion finials painted and gilt with roundels of ho-o in flight above flowering shrubs on a dense ground of geometric patterns and flowerheads (base of one cracked, rim and cover damaged, finials restuck) -- 18½in. high.
