A Chinese export black lacquer cabinet-on-stand decorated with gilt chinoiserie in light relief, the two doors with birds amongst foliage enclosing twelve drawers with figures in landscapes, the stand with cabriole legs and paw feet, early 18th Century, the lacquer cracked, the doors warped -- 40½in. (103cm.) wide.
