With masts, yards, main yard with stun's'l booms, standing and running rigging, full suit of stitched linen sails with reefing points and deck details including anchors, windlass, hatches, belaying rails and pins, companionway, ships bell and compas, ship's boat, shot rack and eight guns in carriages. Finished in black, white and matt varnish with white sails. Stand.

Lot Essay

Thirty-one cutters of this type were brought into the navy by 1763 and later became revenue cutters, they were armed with ten 4-pounder guns.
