An unusual planked and rigged late 19th century model of a Venetian cargo ship with masts and rigging and full suit of stitched linen sails and rope bindings and reefing points, wicker crows nest, and deck detials including anchor, catheads, bollards, belaying rails, hatches, companionways, derricks, deck light, stern gallery and other details. Finished in black, red and varnish -- 38 x 44in (96.5 x 112cm). Stand with engraved plate 'Coca o Nave Veneziana Secedo XV', (some old damages).
