A well presented and detailed electric powered model of a Thornycroft pilot boat of circa 1948 built up on the original builder's test tank hull by B. Millership -- 32 x 57½in.(81.5 x 146cm).

With lowering mast and deck details including deck rails, samson post, companionways, engine room lights, ventilators, glazed wheelhouse with ship's wheel and binnacle and engine controls, radio and with other equipment and with searchlights, siren and navigation lights over, aft cockpit, stayed canopy and other details. The hull, of bread and butter construction, is fitted with a 12 V motor and belt drive to single shaft with three blade propeller. Finished in maroon with red boot top, white and varnish and polished brass work with individually caulked and planked deck. Brass stands and display base.
