With deck details including spinnaker poles, deck lights, ventilators, companionway, winches, ship's wheel, binnacle, navigational lights, aft cockpit, planked deck and many other details. Finished in blue with white boot top and coachline, mounted on a moulded seascape with underwater hull detailing. Glazed case.

Lot Essay

Originaly built by Camper and Nicholson in 1934 for T.Sopwith as a contender for The America's Cup, she was defeated by H.Vanderbilt's 'Rainbow' that year amidst considerable controversy.
This model was awarded Silver Medal M.E. Exhibition, Alexandra Palace 1992.
