A George II fruit strainer with moulded circular bowl pierced with quatrefoils and stylised shells and scrolling foliage, with a moulded rim and two applied cast scroll and flower head handles, later-engraved with Pegasus, the marks partially obliterated by the piercing, probably London 1743 - 7¼in. overall.
