A George III beaded oval swing-handled cake basket on a rising foot, the body and handle applied with classical vignettes, those on the body probably emblematic of the four seasons, chased with two friezes of Vitruvian scrolls and engraved with an armorial within a drapery cartouche, the cover applied with an oval cartouche engraved with a crest, probably Andrew Fogelberg, London 1777 - 13¾in., 33.75oz.
