A pair of mid 18th Century fluted and pierced shaped circular swing-handled epergne baskets on applied openwork bases and with applied rococo gadroon, shell and scroll rims, the centre of each engraved with a crest with coronet above, the handles pierced with rococo flowers and scrolling foliage, each struck with an indistinct maker's mark and a lion passant mark only, London c. 1755 - 6in., 20oz.
