A Tibetan gilt-bronze monk seated in dhyanasana, his hands held before him, wearing peaked cap with lappets falling over his ears, his robes wrapped in folds over his shoulders and around his waist and legs, the edges incised with flowerheads, padmas issuing from both shoulders, on double lotus-petal base -- 6½in.high, 18th century.
