A Victorian brass-bound oblong rosewood dressing case lined in blue plush and leather, containing nine silver-topped cut glass toilet jars and bottles, the lids engraved with arabesques surrounding vacant circular cartouches, the dressing case fitted with a Bramah lock and with a star-shaped brass cartouche engraved with initials and with crest above, the silver mounts by C B, London 1848 - length of dressing case 11¼in.
