A Victorian Scottish tea kettle with flute-chased rising curved spout, fluted and waisted hinged cover with baluster finial and fixed elaborate scroll handle, bright-cut with strapwork, flowers and foliage and applied with similar mounts, with two vacant strapwork cartouches, on a pierced stand with four scroll feet joined with pierced aprons and fitted with a burner, Crichton, Edinburgh probably 1844 or 1852 - 17in., 72.25oz.
