A George III pierced moulded circular swing-handled sugar basin on a rope twist-applied pierced foot and with a similarly rim, chased with floral and foliate swags and with a rope twist cartouche engraved with a monogram, fitted with a blue glass liner, the marks partially obliterated by the piercing, London 1771 - 6¼in. overall.
