A Victorian Scottish tapering moulded circular teapot on a rising foot, with a part-fluted leaf-capped rising capped spout, scroll handle and domed hinged cover with compressed moulded circular finial, the body and cover decorated with a broad frieze of arabesques incorporating two rococo scroll cartouches, one engraved with a crest, the handle a plated replacement, James Howden and Co, Edbinburgh 1840 - 7in., 20oz gross.
