An Attic white-ground lekythos, the central frieze showing two draped youths, one holding a fillet, the other gesturing towards a funerary stele which stands between them, already decorated with fillets, with red, black and yellow colouring, black-glazed neck and foot, restored at neck -- 11in. (28cm.) high, early 5th Century B.C.
