A large black-glazed gnathia-ware hydria, with two side handles and strap handle with relief mask at base, with wide everted lip and flaring foot, the body with vertical ribbed decoration, the neck with incised foliate scrolls and added gold dots, one handle repaired, slight restoration -- 14½in. (36.8cm.) high, 3rd Century B.C.
