A South Italian red-figure pelike by the Brno Painter, showing a standing female in profile to the left, wearing a chiton, a patera in her outstretched right hand and a bunch of grapes in her left, rosettes in the field, on the reverse, a head of a woman in profile to the left, her hair elaborately dressed in ringlets and wearing a sakkos, palmettes under the handles, applied decoration in white and gold -- 8in. (20.2cm.) high, second half of 4th Century B.C.; and a Campanian lekanis cover by the Painter of Vienna 1084, showing the heads of two women in profile to the left, each wearing a sakkos and with her hair dressed in ringlets, flanked by two palmettes -- 5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) diam., late Cumaean, late 4th Century B.C.
